BROOKLYN DOG TRAINING CENTER MOVES TO A LARGER FACILITY IN SOUTH SLOPE
Better Amenities, More Classes and Added Training Opportunities
December 11, 2014, Brooklyn, NY – As of January 1st, 2015, the Brooklyn Dog Training Center will move from it’s current location on 7th Street to 213 21st Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue in South Slope. The new facility will be more than twice the size of the original location and will boast a 1,200 square foot matted training floor and improved amenities.
All of the trainers from the original location are moving to the new facility. Sarah and Kate with Doggie Academy, Renee with Walk This Way Canine Behavior Therapy and Dani with Urban K-9 will continue to teach the classes that Park Slope dog owners have embraced over the past three years.
The larger space will provide more accessibility for clients, as well increased opportunities for in- studio private lessons in agility, obedience, behavior and more. In addition to Doggie Academy’s current slate of classes, highly respected instructor Frankie Joiris of Speedoggie Performance Dog Training will be teaching Total TeamTM Obedience & Agility classes, Four Paw Fusion Yoga® and private lessons. The first of many specialty seminars Doggie Academy will host will take place on February 7th. Discover Rally Obedience with Lindsey Hill is a two-hour working seminar on the popular dog sport that combines obedience, agility and freestyle.
The BDTC trainers will host an Open House for the community on January 23rd, 6pm-9pm. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with the trainers, explore the new location, have some refreshments and mingle with other dog lovers. People are encouraged to RSVP online here, under Special Events.
